Mr William Hermon (CEO)

Chief Executive Officer of ADMAT, Mr Hermon has taught for over twenty years; for the last ten years he has been a successful head teacher in a range of primary settings across Devon and Cornwall. In 2013 whilst employed as Head teacher of St Stephens Community School the school received an OFSTED rating of outstanding in all areas.

Mr Brian Jennings (Chair)

I was a third generation farmer from 1961 to 2016. In 1973 I joined the board of directors at Mole Valley Farmers, a position I still hold. My role with the company has encompassed various projects including in 1995 supervising the major refurbishment of an animal feed mill. This entailed overseeing the original design and build, and then managing the production and sales teams. In 2001 I was appointed by the Privy Council to serve the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and was the first lay Chair of the College's Disciplinary Committee from 2002 to 2007. I also served as a Lay member of the COIC Disciplinary panel, which holds Tribunals involving Barristers who have complaints lodged against them.

1984 – 2002 I held various positions within the NFU, from local branch Chairman through to Devon County Chair, National Council and, Chair of Animal Health Committee. I represented British Farmers in the European farming community. I have also Chaired the Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture (RUMA) Alliance, where I took a leading role negotiating with Government ministers, talking to the press and speaking at meetings across the country. I look forward to putting my skills and experience to good use within the Andaras MAT.

Mrs Claire Paul

I have been involved with governance at St Stephens since 2003 when my daughter joined the reception class. I was a parent governor for a number of years and remained a staff governor until 2013 when the An Daras Academy Trust was created. I was Chair of the Personnel committee at St Stephens for a number of years which allowed me to draw successfully on my previous experience as a senior manager in the pharmaceutical industry. I have worked at St Stephens as a volunteer and teaching assistant before being appointed in February 2012 as a dedicated Child Protection and Safeguarding Manager, a new role for the school and one that I have thoroughly enjoyed developing. It is a role I will be extending across the An Daras Trust this year. I was invited to become a staff director earlier in 2014 and I believe my previous management experience and commitment to supporting the needs of the whole child will help me to support and challenge the MAT as it works hard to achieve its shared vision.

Dr Nicola Murphy

I have worked for Cornwall Council for eleven years in a variety of roles. Currently, I am the Family Hub Coordinator for Early Help Team 5 (which covers Bodmin, Bude, Camelford, Launceston and Wadebridge). I originally trained in psychology, achieving a doctorate in children’s language development and then worked for many years in academia, both teaching and in research. Following this I moved into training professionals to develop their skills when delivering parenting programmes for families with a history of inter-generational abuse. On relocating to Cornwall I firstly worked as part of the Extended Schools agenda and following this I moved into Children’s Centres and obtained the National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership. Most recently, before my current role, I was the Children’s Centre Cluster Manager for Early Help Team 5.

Mrs Sally Cooksey

I moved to Cornwall from London 12 years ago. After graduating from Bristol University with a degree in French and Spanish, I started my career as an event manager. I have continued my career here on a freelance basis often travelling to other parts of the UK and Europe for work. I became a governor at my daughter's school 5 years ago and when the school became part of the Andaras Multi Academy Trust I also volunteered to sit on the Board of Directors. I have greatly enjoyed my experience both as governor and director and hope I can continue to contribute to the growth and development of the MAT.

Mr Peter Hague

I was employed by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) for thirty six and a half years.
For the first dozen or so years I had several posts; including central finance and central traffic prosecutions. In 1989 I was the first Administration Manager to work at Uxbridge division and when the division merged with the south of the borough to form a borough unit in 1992, I took up the role of Finance and Resources Manager for the borough. In 2009 the MPS started a process of centralisation and downsizing, and I moved to a central location as a Finance Manager, latterly having responsibility for the Royal Borough of Westminster and Royal Parks Police. I left on retirement in June 2013. I have experience in budgeting, forecasting and providing detailed management information, using MS Excel, Word and SAP (Business Intelligence) packages. In January 2015 I moved with my wife to Cornwall and we love the area. I joined Rotary last year and also work once a week in the Rotary shop in Launceston where a significant amount is raised for charity each year.
